Medicine Lake in Jasper National is Maligne Lake’s little brother and lives in his shadow…and as far as I am concerned, I’d say I prefer Medicine Lake! Now don’t get me wrong, if you happen to visit Medicine Lake and only limit yourself to the main view point, you probably will end up being very disappointed. A while ago, I was looking at this mountain from the main view point and told myself: There must be a way to find a better angle to photograph that peak! I drove along Medicine Lake countless times until I found something I truly loved! I parked my rental car at a designated spot, walked by the lake and found some of the most amazing rock slabs to use as a foreground. During my latest trip to the Canadian Rockies, it was a no brainer that I wanted to not only re-visit this favorite location of mine and show it to wonderful friend Gina Yeo? We went there for a sunrise and both of us truly enjoyed the light we witnessed on that morning! It was so lovely! And not only did we have an amazing foreground to work with, we also found some Wild Chives desperately growing in between two rocks! These can’t be chive for real? Of course I had to first smell them and then taste in order to confirm that those actually are Wild Chive! Now I am far from recommending you to taste every plants you see in the wild as you could potentially poison yourself…I just happened to be sure this one was chive! It was a truly cute sight! These two little Wild Chive flower buddies were hanging together and enjoying the scene just like Soul Mates!

Acrylic Face Mounted Premium Fine Art Non-Reflective Finish
Definitely a favorite of mine! First of all, it looks absolutely gorgeous! It’s a very slick and modern looking product! Metallic paper is used as a medium on which the image is first printed. This type of paper makes the colors of the image look deeper and more vibrant! With my Acrylic Face Mounted Premium Fine Art Prints, the print itself is sandwiched between a clear 1/8″ acrylic and a 1/8″ aluminum backing. The addition of the acrylic in front of the print adds so much depth to the image, giving it an almost 3D feel. It’s not a 3D print…but the acrylic gives an effect of depth. On the back of the Artwork is a mounted aluminium backing on which a slim square aluminium frame will be mounted. This frame not only serves at adding rigidity to the Artwork but it also allows us to install all the necessary mounting hardware for a super easy and hassle free ready to hang installation to your wall. If you plan on hanging you investment in a reflection sensitive area, NON-REFLECTIVE is definitely the way to go! As the name says, NON-REFLECTIVE basically means it will be reflection free.

The mounting process is the same as the NON-REFLECTIVE FINISH except we use a CLEAR ACRYLIC instead of a non reflective one. You will have some reflections with clear acrylic but the blacks will also be slightly deeper. The same Metallic paper will be used as a medium. So maybe you are not into Acrylic Face Mounted prints because you don’t like this process? Or maybe you would prefer to buy a loose print of one of my Artwork to frame in a frame you already own? NOTES ABOUT PACKAGING, SHIPPING and HANDLING
•Please note that packaging, shipping and handling are included to Canada and United States of America (Lower 48 States only). Due to the fact that all Acrylic Face Mounted Premium Fine Art are fragile, they will be shipped into custom made wooden boxes made specifically for your purchase.
•All Loose Premium Quality Fine Art Prints will be rolled and shipped into a solid and sturdy cylinder box.
•Note that if you wish to pick your Artwork in person, local pick up is an option as long as you are near Montreal, CANADA. I would also deduct the shipping fees from your purchase but you'd need to advise me by email before finalizing check out. This would give you the opportunity to meet me in person and I'd be really happy about that!
