Fire Infused
Wedge Pond, Alberta, CANADA
Of the so many times I went to the Canadian Rockies, I had never stopped to this location: Wedge Pond. I kind of snobbed it because it was firstly very busy and secondly right off the main road… On that morning, I was simply way to tired to go anywhere else so I drove the required few minutes from my campground to get there. To my surprise, I was the first one there for sunrise. And the lake was 100% still.
I was looking for a composition that would offer some tree roots in the foreground or a dead tree but none of that was near the water. The water level was surprisingly low…I found a couple leaves right by the lake so composed this. Then I have to confesse that I cheated by adding a few more leaves to complete my foreground. But that is ok right? We can do that correct? We are allowed to cheat our foregrounds a little bit…right?
My hopes for a great image were pretty low…the sky was completely covered but all of a sudden, the light started glowing on Mount Kidd! And man, what a show it was! It lasted just a few very quick minutes, barely long enough to focus stack all I needed to create the frame I needed for my image and the light was gone! Am I going to complaint that it didn’t last long enough? Heck no! Never! It was so perfect even though it was really really short!

Acrylic Face Mounted Premium Fine Art Non-Reflective Finish
Definitely a favorite of mine! First of all, it looks absolutely gorgeous! It’s a very slick and modern looking product! Metallic paper is used as a medium on which the image is first printed. This type of paper makes the colors of the image look deeper and more vibrant! With my Acrylic Face Mounted Premium Fine Art Prints, the print itself is sandwiched between a clear 1/8″ acrylic and a 1/8″ aluminum backing. The addition of the acrylic in front of the print adds so much depth to the image, giving it an almost 3D feel. It’s not a 3D print…but the acrylic gives an effect of depth. On the back of the Artwork is a mounted aluminium backing on which a slim square aluminium frame will be mounted. This frame not only serves at adding rigidity to the Artwork but it also allows us to install all the necessary mounting hardware for a super easy and hassle free ready to hang installation to your wall. If you plan on hanging you investment in a reflection sensitive area, NON-REFLECTIVE is definitely the way to go! As the name says, NON-REFLECTIVE basically means it will be reflection free.

Acrylic Face Mounted Premium Fine Art Print Clear Finish
The mounting process is the same as the NON-REFLECTIVE FINISH except we use a CLEAR ACRYLIC instead of a non reflective one. You will have some reflections with clear acrylic but the blacks will also be slightly deeper. The same Metallic paper will be used as a medium. This type of paper makes the colors of the image look deeper and more vibrant! The print itself is sandwiched between a clear 1/8″ acrylic and a 1/8″ aluminum backing.
