I often share lovely colourful images from my photography trips…but the reality of the situation is the sun isn’t always shinning! The light simply can’t cooperate even single time I get my camera outside of my backpack! It would be fun if that was the case right? That day was the very last one with my November 2023 workshop group. It was snowing and visibility was very limited…less than ideal for most photographers. We started our day at Lake Louise with some great hope of capturing one last beautiful sunrise. There was a sunrise but we simply didn’t see it happening. Lake Louise was lovely, water was super still and the reflection was pristine. Right after breakfast, we then brought the workshop group to Morant’s Curve. One cannot visit the Rockies without seeing Morant’s Curve. But then again, we couldn’t see much. The mountains were hiding behind some thick clouds… I told all our participants that we would capture images of Morant’s Curve anyway and I would show them how to blend the mountains into their images. I have been to Morant’s Curve many times and have multiple images of that place with no train. So I supplied them with an image of the mountain and I also gave them a tutorial video that explains how to integrate the mountains in easily. Yup, you understand that correctly, I gave them homework! This is what I created of Morant’s Curve captures I took on that specific day! And about the homework, would you say I am a good or a bad teacher for giving my students homework? One thing is for sure, everybody had great fun capturing the images and editing them when they were back home!

Acrylic Face Mounted Premium Fine Art Non-Reflective Finish

Definitely a favorite of mine! First of all, it looks absolutely gorgeous! It’s a very slick and modern looking product! Metallic paper is used as a medium on which the image is first printed. This type of paper makes the colors of the image look deeper and more vibrant! With my Acrylic Face Mounted Premium Fine Art Prints, the print itself is sandwiched between a clear 1/8″ acrylic and a 1/8″ aluminum backing. The addition of the acrylic in front of the print adds so much depth to the image, giving it an almost 3D feel. It’s not a 3D print…but the acrylic gives an effect of depth. On the back of the Artwork is a mounted aluminium backing on which a slim square aluminium frame will be mounted. This frame not only serves at adding rigidity to the Artwork but it also allows us to install all the necessary mounting hardware for a super easy and hassle free ready to hang installation to your wall. If you plan on hanging you investment in a reflection sensitive area, NON-REFLECTIVE is definitely the way to go! As the name says, NON-REFLECTIVE basically means it will be reflection free.

The mounting process is the same as the NON-REFLECTIVE FINISH except we use a CLEAR ACRYLIC instead of a non reflective one. You will have some reflections with clear acrylic but the blacks will also be slightly deeper. The same Metallic paper will be used as a medium. Loose Premium Quality Fine Art Print

So maybe you are not into Acrylic Face Mounted prints because you don’t like this process? Or maybe you would prefer to buy a loose print of one of my Artwork to frame in a frame you already own? You’ll be excited to know that I also sell loose Artwork prints! And you can also be assured that I won’t cut the corners there either as those prints will also be printed on state of the art Archive paper with Archive inks meaning your investment will last a lifetime!

NOTES ABOUT PACKAGING, SHIPPING and HANDLING

•Please note that packaging, shipping and handling are included to Canada and United States of America (Lower 48 States only). Due to the fact that all Acrylic Face Mounted Premium Fine Art are fragile, they will be shipped into custom made wooden boxes made specifically for your purchase.

•All Loose Premium Quality Fine Art Prints will be rolled and shipped into a solid and sturdy cylinder box.

•Note that if you wish to pick your Artwork in person, local pick up is an option as long as you are near Montreal, CANADA. I would also deduct the shipping fees from your purchase but you'd need to advise me by email before finalizing check out. This would give you the opportunity to meet me in person and I'd be really happy about that!
