Divine Light
Kananaskis Country, Alberta, CANADA
I was barely out of my plane and here I was driving into the Canadian Rockies again! It was such a beautiful day. The temperature was barely below freezing point which made for such an extraordinary contrast compare to the week before. I love winter in the mountains. And I love it even more when it’s really cold outside so it was a disappointment for me to not being able to properly freeze my butt!
I have a tradition when I go to the Canadian Rockies…I love to eat at A&W Burgers in Canmore! I know, it’s 100% fast-food but it’s really good for my mental health because it brings back good memories. Then Gina met me at Canmore Visitor’s Center and we drove up in the Kananaskis. As we were driving by Spray Lake, we noticed this little spontaneous creek that had formed thanks to the fact that temperatures went up… We parked road side and decided to walk to the lake and enjoy the scene. The light was simply amazing! For that image, I did some focal length blending…since I was standing pretty close to the creek and pretty far from the mountain range on the other side of the lake, I captured both foreground and background at different focal lengths and blended the images together in Photoshop. Some will call this cheating…I will call this being genuine to the actual scene I recall seeing and made proportions more correct. Wanna learn more about that technique? I published an article about it in my Blog section. Have a look!Photo © copyright by DantyArt Photography.
Acrylic Face Mounted Premium Fine Art Non-Reflective Finish

Definitely a favorite of mine! First of all, it looks absolutely gorgeous! It’s a very slick and modern looking product! Metallic paper is used as a medium on which the image is first printed. This type of paper makes the colors of the image look deeper and more vibrant! With my Acrylic Face Mounted Premium Fine Art Prints, the print itself is sandwiched between a clear 1/8″ acrylic and a 1/8″ aluminum backing. The addition of the acrylic in front of the print adds so much depth to the image, giving it an almost 3D feel. It’s not a 3D print…but the acrylic gives an effect of depth. On the back of the Artwork is a mounted aluminium backing on which a slim square aluminium frame will be mounted. This frame not only serves at adding rigidity to the Artwork but it also allows us to install all the necessary mounting hardware for a super easy and hassle free ready to hang installation to your wall. If you plan on hanging you investment in a reflection sensitive area, NON-REFLECTIVE is definitely the way to go! As the name says, NON-REFLECTIVE basically means it will be reflection free.
•Please note that if you wish to purchase an Artwork with specific dimensions that aren't listed on my website, feel free to contact me and I will be more than happy to assist you in the process as I will need to create a new product variant specially for you. Acrylic Face Mounted Premium Fine Art Print Clear Finish

The mounting process is the same as the NON-REFLECTIVE FINISH except we use a CLEAR ACRYLIC instead of a non reflective one. You will have some reflections with clear acrylic but the blacks will also be slightly deeper. The same Metallic paper will be used as a medium. This type of paper makes the colors of the image look deeper and more vibrant! The print itself is sandwiched between a clear 1/8″ acrylic and a 1/8″ aluminum backing.
