Unfinished Business

I am just coming back from a fantastic memorable trip to Ireland. This was my fourth time on that beautiful island. I met some truly wonderful people, saw some amazing new places, had a mix of every weather conditions one can think of…after all, it’s Ireland, right?
And most importantly, I was able to create images I had been trying to obtain since years…that on in particular, since 10 years. Some locations will give you everything on a silver plate while other locations will make you work for the candies. You can’t get that one correctly if you aren’t well prepared. And even if you are prepared, Mother Nature might have other plans for you success…
First time 10 years ago was a big disappointment, how in the name of God do I get down on that beach? We were very tight on time and it didn’t happen. Second time back in 2019, I had planned two full days in that area to hopefully get it right…I was skunked by a high tide which makes the beach inaccessible on the first sunset…and then, the second night, I intentionally lock myself on that beach at high tide. I wasn’t in any danger and had plenty of areas to wait while tide would go away but a local lady saw my car parked near by for what she thought was an abnormal amount of time so she called the Guarda…local police. They then called the Coast Guard to get me out of there but I was just fine! I simply walked out of there on my own with waders on. I just had to wait for tide to come down…
And finally, this latest trip to Ireland was all planned around getting the perfect tide at sunset for this location two nights in a row…the weather forecast wasn’t what I initially wanted but the wave forecast was looking perfect…did I finally succeeded at photographing that Arch? I think it’s fair to say that I did manage to finish my unfinished business here!

Acrylic Face Mounted Premium Fine Art Non-Reflective Finish
Definitely a favorite of mine! First of all, it looks absolutely gorgeous! It’s a very slick and modern looking product! Metallic paper is used as a medium on which the image is first printed. This type of paper makes the colors of the image look deeper and more vibrant! With my Acrylic Face Mounted Premium Fine Art Prints, the print itself is sandwiched between a clear 1/8″ acrylic and a 1/8″ aluminum backing. The addition of the acrylic in front of the print adds so much depth to the image, giving it an almost 3D feel. It’s not a 3D print…but the acrylic gives an effect of depth. On the back of the Artwork is a mounted aluminium backing on which a slim square aluminium frame will be mounted. This frame not only serves at adding rigidity to the Artwork but it also allows us to install all the necessary mounting hardware for a super easy and hassle free ready to hang installation to your wall. If you plan on hanging you investment in a reflection sensitive area, NON-REFLECTIVE is definitely the way to go! As the name says, NON-REFLECTIVE basically means it will be reflection free.

Acrylic Face Mounted Premium Fine Art Print Clear Finish
The mounting process is the same as the NON-REFLECTIVE FINISH except we use a CLEAR ACRYLIC instead of a non reflective one. You will have some reflections with clear acrylic but the blacks will also be slightly deeper. The same Metallic paper will be used as a medium. Loose Premium Quality Fine Art Print
So maybe you are not into Acrylic Face Mounted prints because you don’t like this process? Or maybe you would prefer to buy a loose print of one of my Artwork to frame in a frame you already own? NOTES ABOUT PACKAGING, SHIPPING and HANDLING
•Please note that packaging, shipping and handling are included to Canada and United States of America (Lower 48 States only). Due to the fact that all Acrylic Face Mounted Premium Fine Art are fragile, they will be shipped into custom made wooden boxes made specifically for your purchase.
•All Loose Premium Quality Fine Art Prints will be rolled and shipped into a solid and sturdy cylinder box.
•Note that if you wish to pick your Artwork in person, local pick up is an option as long as you are near Montreal, CANADA. I would also deduct the shipping fees from your purchase but you'd need to advise me by email before finalizing check out. This would give you the opportunity to meet me in person and I'd be really happy about that!
