This one will be a big hats off to gulls…better known as sea gulls by most people. But in the birding world, they don’t call them sea gulls. It’s a gull! To me, they hang near the ocean and are gulls so why not sea gulls? Right? In all honesty, most "sea gulls" I have seen in Ireland are very independant and they simply don’t care for us. They do their own things and get their own food unlike their North American counterparts. The North American "sea gulls" will hang at McDonalds or Burger King and stare at you for as long as you eat in the hope that you drop one single French fry on the ground… They might even steal your meal if you don’t pay attention! They are so annoying!
Why am I dedicating an image to them the ? I must admit that I was in awe to see them flying around at Down Patrick Head in such severe winds. It was both mesmerizing and so relaxing. I spent long periods of time not even capturing a single and just looking at them flying around, playing daredevils with the cliff walls. I was sure one would hit the cliff walls but no, they are in full control of the situation. Even though it was extremely windy, it was a truly beautiful and relaxing moment to see them accomplish their risky maneuvers with the sound of the waves crashing against the rocks and the post sunrise light just doing what it does best in Ireland…this is Irish light at it’s finest!
Definitely one of these moments when I felt genuinely the most relaxed of the whole trip and I truly hope you can feel that inner peacefulness I was feeling back then becuase I sure can still feel it just looking at the image. Except for when I stood back up and felt them atrociously strong winds again still trying to blow be to the next nearby village…that inner peacefulness was also blown away!

Acrylic Face Mounted Premium Fine Art Non-Reflective Finish
Definitely a favorite of mine! First of all, it looks absolutely gorgeous! It’s a very slick and modern looking product! Metallic paper is used as a medium on which the image is first printed. This type of paper makes the colors of the image look deeper and more vibrant! With my Acrylic Face Mounted Premium Fine Art Prints, the print itself is sandwiched between a clear 1/8″ acrylic and a 1/8″ aluminum backing. The addition of the acrylic in front of the print adds so much depth to the image, giving it an almost 3D feel. It’s not a 3D print…but the acrylic gives an effect of depth. On the back of the Artwork is a mounted aluminium backing on which a slim square aluminium frame will be mounted. This frame not only serves at adding rigidity to the Artwork but it also allows us to install all the necessary mounting hardware for a super easy and hassle free ready to hang installation to your wall. If you plan on hanging you investment in a reflection sensitive area, NON-REFLECTIVE is definitely the way to go! As the name says, NON-REFLECTIVE basically means it will be reflection free.

The mounting process is the same as the NON-REFLECTIVE FINISH except we use a CLEAR ACRYLIC instead of a non reflective one. You will have some reflections with clear acrylic but the blacks will also be slightly deeper. The same Metallic paper will be used as a medium. NOTES ABOUT PACKAGING, SHIPPING and HANDLING
•Please note that packaging, shipping and handling are included to Canada and United States of America (Lower 48 States only). Due to the fact that all Acrylic Face Mounted Premium Fine Art are fragile, they will be shipped into custom made wooden boxes made specifically for your purchase.
•All Loose Premium Quality Fine Art Prints will be rolled and shipped into a solid and sturdy cylinder box.
•Note that if you wish to pick your Artwork in person, local pick up is an option as long as you are near Montreal, CANADA. I would also deduct the shipping fees from your purchase but you'd need to advise me by email before finalizing check out. This would give you the opportunity to meet me in person and I'd be really happy about that!
