So Small In A Big World
Redwoods National Park, California, USA
I truly love to walk in any forests. The smells, the noises and everything you can find in those kind of environments just ignites all my senses! Little did I know about how much I would be impressed by Redwoods National Park forests! They told me the Redwoods were tall trees…tall truly is an understatement! The are huge! How tall are they really? I had to Google search to get an answer because I simply couldn’t guess how much just looking by eyes…and the answer is up to 100 meters tall! That’s freakin 330 feet!
And now, how can we make sense of such a scene? Forest scenes can look very busy and heavy since all you can see on an image are superposed trees…Redwoods National Park forest is very well know for fog at sunrise. What I like about fog is the fact that it creates separation between trees that are close to you and the ones that are farther. Everything that is close will be way less diffused than the ones that are farther. This also adds to the mood and atmosphere since it adds a mysterious feel to the forest. And now, how could I add a sense of scale to them talk trees? Simply by adding myself in the scene! I am not a small man…I am 1,82M tall and I weight 90 kilos but I look so tiny next to those huge monsters…standing there among these giant trees truly was an experience on it’s own! It truly is an experience one must live at least once in a lifetime!Photo © copyright by DantyArt Photography.
Acrylic Face Mounted Premium Fine Art Non-Reflective Finish
Definitely a favorite of mine! First of all, it looks absolutely gorgeous! It’s a very slick and modern looking product! Metallic paper is used as a medium on which the image is first printed. This type of paper makes the colors of the image look deeper and more vibrant! With my Acrylic Face Mounted Premium Fine Art Prints, the print itself is sandwiched between a clear 1/8″ acrylic and a 1/8″ aluminum backing. The addition of the acrylic in front of the print adds so much depth to the image, giving it an almost 3D feel. It’s not a 3D print…but the acrylic gives an effect of depth. On the back of the Artwork is a mounted aluminium backing on which a slim square aluminium frame will be mounted. This frame not only serves at adding rigidity to the Artwork but it also allows us to install all the necessary mounting hardware for a super easy and hassle free ready to hang installation to your wall. If you plan on hanging you investment in a reflection sensitive area, NON-REFLECTIVE is definitely the way to go! As the name says, NON-REFLECTIVE basically means it will be reflection free.
•Please note that if you wish to purchase an Artwork with specific dimensions that aren't listed on my website, feel free to contact me and I will be more than happy to assist you in the process as I will need to create a new product variant specially for you. Acrylic Face Mounted Premium Fine Art Print Clear Finish
The mounting process is the same as the NON-REFLECTIVE FINISH except we use a CLEAR ACRYLIC instead of a non reflective one. You will have some reflections with clear acrylic but the blacks will also be slightly deeper. The same Metallic paper will be used as a medium. This type of paper makes the colors of the image look deeper and more vibrant! The print itself is sandwiched between a clear 1/8″ acrylic and a 1/8″ aluminum backing.
