Some of the locations I visited over the years left such amazing memories to me. I camped there with a good friend years ago. Ever since 2014, I promised myself every year that I would go back and never did…until just recently.
When Arwin asked me if I wanted to camp there for two nights, it was a no brainer for me that the answer was heck yes! The more the better! You have to stay more than just one night at Toroweap to fully enjoy the experience. Imagine driving over two hours on gravel and sandy roads until you reach the ranger station…then driving an extra couple kilometers of pretty severe conditions where you absolutely need a high clearance vehicle. A Nissan Rogue won’t make it through this last part… Then finally make it to the very primitive campground to setup your tent. There is no tap water, there is no electricity and sure no cellular service, just you and the canyon. THE perfect place to disconnect from reality. You can’t put in all this effort only for one night? Right?
I had an image in mind…an image I wished I captured back in 2014. I had been dreaming about this little baby tree since 14 years, hoping to go back every year… The first day was truly grey. The second day started with some rain and grey clouds. As the day progressed, the sky did loosen up a bit but at the end of the day, the sky was still very heavy. It was stormy and rain curtains could be seen in the distance. I was almost sure we wouldn’t get anything but a moody sky but rain or shine, I will always be out and get the most out of every opportunities. After a while, the light was dimming down. You could tell that sunset was happening. I was almost decided to give up and started packing my stuff when all of a sudden, we had a very brief little hint of colours. It lasted a few very short minutes…I didn’t even have time to film a story video! You don’t believe me? Ask Arwin!

Acrylic Face Mounted Premium Fine Art Non-Reflective Finish
Definitely a favorite of mine! First of all, it looks absolutely gorgeous! It’s a very slick and modern looking product! Metallic paper is used as a medium on which the image is first printed. This type of paper makes the colors of the image look deeper and more vibrant! With my Acrylic Face Mounted Premium Fine Art Prints, the print itself is sandwiched between a clear 1/8″ acrylic and a 1/8″ aluminum backing. The addition of the acrylic in front of the print adds so much depth to the image, giving it an almost 3D feel. It’s not a 3D print…but the acrylic gives an effect of depth. On the back of the Artwork is a mounted aluminium backing on which a slim square aluminium frame will be mounted. This frame not only serves at adding rigidity to the Artwork but it also allows us to install all the necessary mounting hardware for a super easy and hassle free ready to hang installation to your wall. If you plan on hanging you investment in a reflection sensitive area, NON-REFLECTIVE is definitely the way to go! As the name says, NON-REFLECTIVE basically means it will be reflection free.

The mounting process is the same as the NON-REFLECTIVE FINISH except we use a CLEAR ACRYLIC instead of a non reflective one. You will have some reflections with clear acrylic but the blacks will also be slightly deeper. The same Metallic paper will be used as a medium. Loose Premium Quality Fine Art Print
So maybe you are not into Acrylic Face Mounted prints because you don’t like this process? Or maybe you would prefer to buy a loose print of one of my Artwork to frame in a frame you already own? NOTES ABOUT PACKAGING, SHIPPING and HANDLING
•Please note that packaging, shipping and handling are included to Canada and United States of America (Lower 48 States only). Due to the fact that all Acrylic Face Mounted Premium Fine Art are fragile, they will be shipped into custom made wooden boxes made specifically for your purchase.
•All Loose Premium Quality Fine Art Prints will be rolled and shipped into a solid and sturdy cylinder box.
•Note that if you wish to pick your Artwork in person, local pick up is an option as long as you are near Montreal, CANADA. I would also deduct the shipping fees from your purchase but you'd need to advise me by email before finalizing check out. This would give you the opportunity to meet me in person and I'd be really happy about that!
